The link between child bullying and depression

There is evidence to suggest that children who are bullied may be at increased risk for depression.

Children who are bullied may experience a variety of negative emotions, including sadness, loneliness, and low self-esteem.

These negative emotions can contribute to the development of depression over time.

Additionally, children who are bullied may feel a sense of helplessness and a lack of control over their situation, which can also increase the risk of depression.

It's important for parents and caregivers to be aware of the potential link between bullying and depression and to take steps to support children who may be at risk.

This may include seeking the help of a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, if needed.
